Original Julius K9 Harnesses are made with the highest-quality materials and are thoroughly tested for durability and comfortability.

Fake Julius K9 Harnesses are poorly manufactured with cheap materials. These imitation harnesses have not been tested and do not have the same design features as original Julius K9 harnesses. These harnesses are increasing in the online market, typically found on online auction/trading website such as Ebay and Amazon. It's important to understand that even though the harness may have the Julius K9 branding on it, this does NOT mean they are manufactured by the original Julius K9 company.

So what is the difference between an original or counterfeit Julius K9 Powerharness?

Real

Original Julius K9 Harnesses have the Julius K9 Logo stitched to the harness. "Julius K-9" is in white writing on a black rubber background. These logos can be found:

Behind the D-Ring for sizes Baby 1, Baby 2, Mini-Mini and Mini.
Directly on the loop and clip button that secures the handle for sizes 0, 1, 2 and 3.

Fake

Fake Julius K9 harnesses are missing the Julius K9 rubber logo, alternatively, the independent imitation manufacturer has stitched their logo to the harness instead.

The Julius K9 Buckle

Real

Original Julius K9 harnesses are made with self-manufactured harnesses that are tensile-tested up to 350kg. These buckles are moulded with the Julius K-9 Brand and website.

Fake

Fake harnesses do not have the embossed Julius K9 buckles. Other buckles may have other symbols or brands on them. These buckles are not tested and are often made with cheap materials that wear out after a few uses.

Please note:Harness sizes Baby 1, Baby 2, Mini-mini, Mini and 0 have been introduced to the embossed buckles in 2017 - if you receive one of these harness sizes without the buckle logo but the rest of the harness' quality is fantastic, rest assured, you've received a genuine Julius K9 harness.

Fake

Fake Julius K9 harnesses are made with cheap materials. Although it is challenging to identify the material quality from an image, fake harnesses can be identified with the following:

Wavy edging and stitching - highlights extremely thin material
Uneven stitching - poor production quality
Frayed edges and/or parts - cheap materials

- The handle on sizes Mini-mini and Mini can be secured down with velcro.
- The handle on sizes 0, 1, 2 and 3 can be secured with a rubber strap and clip button.
